“A different spirit,” –what a wonderful description of this man of faith, and how it made him exceptional…

“And when they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah: so they were routed.” 1Chronicles 20:22

   We live in a day when crisis seems to surround us…

“Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.”    Phil 2:14-15

In the book Finding Calcutta, Dr. Mary Poplin comments on the ease with which a spirit of complaining can derail what God wants to have happen in people…

We must continue to realize that we are a very small part of a big picture and because of that fact, we must trust Him in all things and that He has everyone’s best interest in mind…
