OUR COUNTENANCE

“Now whenever you fast, do not make a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they distort their faces so that they will be noticed by people when they are fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.” Matthew 6:16

Our countenance, like a thermometer often reveals our internal emotional atmosphere. The only thing that can bring a change is setting our heart on the joy of the Lord because we know He is in charge and truly good and our confidence is in Him. He will make our faithfulness in seeking Him lead to fruitfulness.
