“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.” Acts 16:25-26
If you have been in the midst of suffering think on this passage.
Paul and Silas had just been beaten and imprisoned. Their deliverance came as they did not let their real feelings dictate their future. They prayed and worshiped and gave their lives into God’s care. All of this was being witnessed by all the other prisoners in the prison for various reasons. Their suffering in that moment would lead to God delivering them and the prisoners as well as the jailor.
It is just a continual reminder that all that we go through is not without great purpose. In Jesus name may your deliverance come with a powerful supernatural release and healing to you and to those who have witnessed the difficulties you have been through.
